Emergency Procedures

To enhance our students' safety and well-being, we are expanding our school's efforts to prepare for an emergency.

The school is prepared to care for your children in the event of a critical situation, or if parents/alternates are unable to reach the school. However, we ask for your help in the following areas:

  • Read the Parent Letter and Emergency Mass Evacuation Plan document.
  • Complete and return the attached Student Release form.

We encourage you to return the form using any method that is the most efficient for you (by email, take a photo of the form and email or text, paper).

For families in the Kimberley area, we ask that you return this form on or before Tuesday September 4th. We do understand that some families may not be able to print the form from home and so we will proactively send home a paper copy with every student on Tuesday. Please return the completed copy to the school with your child on Wednesday. If you are able to print and return it on September 4th, please just recycle the one that your child brings home.

One of the most important areas of school emergency planning is gathering accurate information so the school can contact you or someone authorized to act on your behalf. The information on the attached form will be used only in case of emergency or disaster. This information is kept confidential at the school.
